Gnotec has obtained a major order and starts operation in China

Gnotec follows the internationalisation plan and starts production in China.

Gnotec has signed an agreement with Volvo Car Corporation regarding deliveries of pressed metal components to Volvo Cars’ new plant in Chengdu, China. Based on this order, Gnotec has decided to start a new manufacturing plant in the city of Kunshan in eastern China. Preparations for the production are taking place and production is planned to start during autumn 2013.

The establishment in China is part of the offensive international drive of the group. A sales and purchasing office was set up in Shanghai during spring 2012, aiming at supporting Gnotec’s customers on the rapidly growing local market.

Stefan Ottosson, President and CEO of Gnotec, comments on the establishment: “The order from Volvo Cars is an important corner stone in the start up of our Chinese operation and makes it possible for Gnotec to take the next step in our internationalisation plan.”

Frauenthal Group concludes acquisition of Gnotec AB

Vienna prime market listed Frauenthal Group continues to pursue its growth strategy with the acquisition of Sweden’s Gnotec AB. The addition of the leading chassis component manufacturer and producer of stamped, punched and formed parts will strengthen the Frauenthal product portfolio and pave the way for synergies with key customers. Robotsvetsoperatörer

Vi söker dig som har teknisk utbildning på gymnasienivå eller motsvarande och som har giltigt svetscertifikat enligt EN 287-1 och EN 1418 för MAG-svetsning. Vi ser att du har god kunskap och praktisk erfarenhet av svetsning. Som robotsvetsare bör du dessutom ha kunskaper inom robothantering med styrsystem Motoman och/eller ABB.

Rörbockningsoperatör

Vi bockar rör upp till 50 mm diameter. Vår nyinvesterade rörbockningslinje är helautomatisk och är bestyckad med robotplock. Vi söker en kunnig operatör som innehar god kompetens vad gäller rörbockning och programmering.

För ovanstående tjänster gäller att du som person är självständig, driven och tycker om att ta initiativ i arbetet. Du är även en god lagspelare som har en välutvecklad samarbetsförmåga. Vidare är du kvalitetsmedveten och har en utvecklad balans mellan effektivitet och noggrannhet i arbetet. Tjänsterna är förlagda till 2-skift. Truckkort är ett krav samt god kunskap i ritningsläsning.

1250 ton Press line ready for production

Gnotec has previously announced the signing of an agreement for purchasing a new Omera automatic press line with a press power of 1 250 ton. The machine was delivered at the end of last year and after installation and introduction the press line is now running.
The machine will provide a considerably extended production capacity, needed to handle taken and even coming orders in an excellent way.

Lennart Magnusson, plant manager at Gnotec Kinnared, comments:
“The installation of the new press line, that also required adjustments of the company building, has gone quite according to plan. The press line has been in operation for around a week. By that, new orders with increased demands for larger press power and tool table are run in the new press line.”

Mr Jan Mati has been appointed as Sales Manager Eastern Europe and will be located at Gnotec in Cadca, Slovakia. Jan has thorough experience in sales from previous positions at Hewlett Packard and Showa Denko.

Gnotec is investing and increasing its production capacity

Gnotec has signed an agreement to purchase an Omera automatic press line
with a press power of 1 250 ton.

The press line, with equipment for handling of raw material, scrap and finished
components, will be placed at the Gnotec plant in Kinnared. The machine will be
installed during the second half-year of 2012 and will provide extended production
capacity needed for taken and coming orders.
